2024 dates for Palm Springs International Film Festival set

With the box office successes of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer,” we are counting down the days to the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival. How about you?

The film festival is scheduled for Jan. 4 to 15, 2024, with its annual star-studded Film Awards kicking off the celebration on Jan. 4. The year’s biggest stars and films are honored at the event held at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

A general seat for the Film Awards costs $350, while a Silver Patron Seat costs $500, and includes cocktail hour, dinner and the ceremony. Premier, Platinum and VIP Platinum seats range from $1,500 to $2,500, and also include access to the after party. Tables for 10 guests start from $5,000.

The screening portion of the festival will run Jan. 5 — with the Opening Night screening and reception scheduled for later that evening — through Jan. 14. Best of Fest screenings will take place Jan. 15.

Patrons can purchase a platinum pass for $575 to get general access to regular film screenings, Talking Pictures presentations with discussions, Opening and Closing Night screenings and Best of Fest. Concierge passholders ($3,000) have a seat with their name on it at each screening (advance reservations are required) and get access to festival parties and the Festival Lounge. The benefactor pass ($3,750), the all-access pass, offers premier seating in each theater and a Film Awards premier seat (advanced reservation required by Dec. 1).

Film Awards honorees will be announced later this year, as well as the film screenings and schedule. Tickets to individual screenings are not yet available for purchase but are expected to go on sale in December and cost around $13.

All passes and Film Awards tickets can be purchased at psfilmfest.org or by calling the box office at 760-778-8979.
