Palm Springs Airport Holding Fall Job Fair as Companies Look to Hire Nearly 100 People

PALM SPRINGS —Due to increased passenger and flight activity, Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is holding a second job fair to help 14 tenants hire nearly 100 people for their PSP business locations.

There are many full-time and part-time positions available from companies such as Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, Hertz, Signature Flight Support, Transportation Security Administration, Atlantic Aviation, and more. Open positions include aircraft line maintenance, airline ramp agents, airline customer service agents, cashiers, taxi drivers, servers, cooks, supervisors, and rental car sales agents to name a few. Some jobs even come with flight benefits!

“We have a variety of tenants looking to fill all types of positions at the airport,” said Victoria Carpenter, Airport Administration Manager at PSP. “We decided to hold a second job fair after our tenants expressed the need to hire more staff due to the increased activity at PSP. There are plenty of opportunities available, so we encourage everyone to be prepared for on-the-spot interviews and hiring.”

Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to interview at the job fair which will be at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is owned and operated by the City of Palm Springs and is the only commercial service airport in the Coachella Valley. The airport’s 13 air carriers provide nonstop service to 36 airports in season, 31 in the United States and 5 in Canada, and 15 airports year-round.

Canadian nonstop routes include Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. PSP is served by aha!, Air Canada, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Flair, JetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country, Swoop, United, and WestJet. Some airlines and routes operate only on a seasonal basis.
