Best Zoo in America? The Living Desert, of Course

PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS – If you’re looking to visit the best zoo in America, you need no farther than the Coachella Valley’s back yard.

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens was recently named the Best Zoo in America by 24/7 Wall Street.

According to the website, to identify the best 20 zoos, “24/7 looked at a total of 272 zoos, all of which were within the zoo category on Yelp or near the top 1,000 U.S. cities by population. Only zoos with at least 50 Yelp reviews were considered. The ranking is based on the average rating and number of reviews.”

According to the 24/7 Wall Street website, The Living Desert tops the list of 20, which also includes Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Denver Zoo, and Santa Barbara Zoo, among others.
