LifeStream Blood Bank Pledges $5 to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation for Every Blood Donation
This Memorial Day weekend, LifeStream Blood Bank is supporting the Children of the Fallen Patriots Foundation to encourage blood donations and raise funds for military families in need. From Friday, May 24 to Monday, May 27, LifeStream will donate $5 for every successful blood and platelet donation.
The Children of the Fallen Patriots Foundation is dedicated to providing college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and ensuring every child receives all necessary college funding.
“LifeStream encourages everyone to join us in commemorating Memorial Day and honoring the American patriots who gave the ultimate sacrifice,” LifeStream President and CEO Robert Sanchez said in a statement,
As an Army veteran, Sanchez is honored to support military families with scholarship opportunities.
“This Memorial Day, bleed for the red, white and blue,” Sanchez said. “Donate with LifeStream to make an impactful difference in a local patient’s life while supporting those who have served our nation.”
This Memorial Day weekend, LifeStream donors will also receive a limited edition T-shirt while supplies last. LifeStream serves over 80 Southern California hospitals and operates donor centers in San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, Victorville, Murrieta, Placentia, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage and Hemet and conducts mobile blood drives throughout its service area.
