Residents Can Get to Know Candidates Via Zoom

INDIO —The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a series of four candidate forums, giving residents an opportunity to see city council hopefuls address issues and answer questions important to residents and businesses in each community.

Candidates will address a wide-range of topics that impact their respective communities, as well as share their vision for their city.

The Candidate Forums are:

Indio City Council 2020 Candidate Forum
September 23 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

La Quinta City Council 2020 Candidate Forum
September 24 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Coachella City Council 2020 Candidate Forum
September 28 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Cathedral City City Council 2020 Candidate Forum
September 30 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

All qualified candidates for City Council and mayor have been invited to participate in this public townhall.  Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, this year the forum will be conducted via Zoom Conferencing.

The events will be available for replay across most social media platforms through November 3rd.  This event is hosted by the respective Chamber of Commerce in each community, in partnership with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce.  The event is free to view.

Oct. 19, 2020, is the last day to register to vote or transfer registration for this election.  Voter registration cards are available at City Hall.  Voter registration is also available on the Registrar of Voters website by clicking here.
