Want to Get Married on Valentine’s Day? Consider Civil Ceremony
RIVERSIDE – The Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder welcomes couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a memorable way by hosting civil marriage ceremonies on Friday, Feb. 14. As one of the most popular days of the year to get married, Valentine’s Day provides the perfect opportunity for couples to begin their journey together with a meaningful ceremony.
Ceremonies will be conducted by staff at four convenient locations across Riverside County. Appointments are strongly encouraged to secure a preferred time, but walk-ins will be accommodated as availability allows.
Couples planning to get married should visit http://www.rivcoacr.org/CivilMarriageCeremonyto complete their marriage license application and review ceremony details. Each office offers a welcoming and festive environment to celebrate your special day.
The fees for a public marriage license are $100, while a confidential marriage license is $110. Civil ceremonies cost $85. Couples must bring valid, government-issued photo identification, and if divorced within the last 90 days, final dissolution documents are required.
