Informational Meetings to be Held at Coachella Library Regarding Coachella’s New Healthy Food Truck Pilot Program
COACHELLA – The City of Coachella in partnership with Coachella Blue Zones and Riverside University Health System will be hosting two informational meetings this month for food truck operators interested in obtaining a permit to participate as a vendor in Coachella’s new Healthy Food Truck Pilot Program.
Both meetings will provide information on eligible food truck locations, qualification guidelines, and a walk through of the application process. Refreshments and free translation services will be provided to attendees.
“The launch of the Healthy Food Truck Program marks an historic and exciting moment for Coachella as the first policy initiative in partnership with Blue Zones Project,” Angela Zepeda, Executive Director for Coachella Blue Zones, said. “This is a big step toward making the healthy choice the easy choice for our community. By bringing fresh, nutritious, and culturally inspired food directly to our neighborhoods, we are transforming the way our families access healthy options. This program is about more than just food—it’s about creating lasting change and building a healthier future for generations to come.”
