Desert Regional Cardiology Center will celebrate its launch with an open house and ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday, Feb.18
PALM SPRINGS — Desert Care Network on Thursday announced the opening of the Desert Regional Cardiology Center, a new outpatient clinic, designed to provide patients with convenient access to a full spectrum of general, diagnostic, and interventional cardiology services—all under one roof.
The Cardiology Center will be located in existing space in the Stergios Building, next to the gym where we have our Cardiac Rehab program and the offices for our Congestive Heart Failure Program. The Center will add a full-service, hospital-based cardiology clinic to the services under one roof.
To celebrate this milestone, Desert Regional will host “Affair of the Heart,” an open house and ribbon-cutting event from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. m Feb. 18 in the Stergios Building, 1140 N. Indian Canyon Drive, where the community can learn about heart care. In addition to the Cardiology Clinic, attendees will be able to talk with experts from many hospital programs, including the Cardiac Rehab program, the Congestive Heart Failure program, the Comprehensive Stroke Center and many other services. A ribbon-cutting with the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce will be held at 4 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
To register for the open house event, go online to DesertCareNetwork.com/Events. To make an appointment with a cardiologist at the Desert Regional Cardiology Center, prospective patients can call (760) 424-7345 or visit DesertCareNetwork.com/Cardio. Appointments are available now.
The new Desert Regional Cardiology Center brings together hospital-based expertise and advanced interventional care in an outpatient setting, offering patients continuity of care before, during, and after hospital visits.
“Our goal is to make high-quality cardiac care more accessible and coordinated for our patients,” said Kaustubh Patankar, MD, Medical Director of Desert Regional Cardiology Center. “We hear from patients in our communities that it can take months to seek general cardiovascular care. By bringing interventional, diagnostic, and follow-up services together in one location, we can streamline care, reduce delays, and support better outcomes for patients at every stage of their heart health journey.”

Desert Regional Cardiology Center offers access to both general and interventional cardiac services, including:
