INDIO — If you are looking for a job, this could be your ticket. An employment fair that attracts thousands of people will be held Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Fantasy Springs Casino Resort Event Center in Indio.
This is on track with last year’s record of more than 90 employers and exhibitors from the hospitality, retail, banking, gaming, education and government sectors. Employment opportunities range from entry level to upper management positions. Hospitality, retail, banking, gaming, education and government agencies were some of the industries represented.
This is the 23rd year of the employment event, a collaboration among Riverside County’s Economic Development Agency/Workforce Development and Department of Public Social Services, and the California Employment Development Department.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Event Center, 84245 Indio Springs Drive.

Shuttle transportation for bus riders is new this year to the employment fair and can be accessed at the SunLine bus stop hub off Highway 111 in Indio beginning at 8:30 a.m. Shuttles will leave every 30 minutes until 12 p.m. The last shuttle returning attendees from the events center to the Highway 111 location will be 1 p.m.
