Friday Nights on Pierson Continues, Welcomes Pop-Up Vendors

Friday Nights on Pierson to Continue IndefinitelyDESERT HOT SPRINGS — Due to popular demand from the community, the City of Desert Hot Springs “Friday Nights on Pierson” will continue as a vibrant weekly event.

“We are very excited at the success of this,” Sean Smith, director of economic development, told Uken Report. “I think it’s been so well received because Desert Hot Springs has a great sense of community. Our residents enjoy attending events and activities that bring everyone together. Additionally, the quality and variety of food trucks is a huge draw. We’re even seeing residents from other areas of the valley attend.”

The first event attracted between 500 and 1,000 people, Smith said.

Starting from June 16, the festivities will take place every Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the
Downtown Arts and Culture District, 11940 Palm Drive.

The culinary delights will be even more diverse, as the city welcomes pop-up food vendors to join the lineup, Smith said. Local pop-up food, art, and merchandise vendors are encouraged to be a part of this experience.

If you are interested in showcasing your creations and tantalizing the taste buds of attendees, you are encouraged to apply as a vendor. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your unique
offerings to a captivated audience.
