Groundbreaking Event Scheduled for The Lights at Indio Golf Course Clubhouse

INDIO — The City of Indio and The Lights at Indio Golf Course announce the groundbreaking of its new clubhouse, a milestone in enhancing the golfing experience in the Coachella Valley. The new facility, designed to elevate community engagement and support a variety of events, will encompass approximately 4,500 square feet of modern amenities.

This project will feature:

• Full Commercial Kitchen: Perfectly equipped to support large events and catering needs, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences.
• Dining Area: A spacious area designed with ample seating capacity for both casual dining and special occasions.
• Bar and Lounge: A comfortable space for socializing, complete with a selection of beverages and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Pro Shop: A fully stocked shop offering the latest golf equipment and apparel for enthusiasts of all levels.
• Meeting and Event Spaces: Versatile rooms that can be configured for meetings, events, and gatherings, catering to both business and leisure.
• Outdoor Patio and Seating Area: An inviting outdoor space ideal for dining and relaxation, boasting stunning views of the golf course.

The project is slated for completion by Spring 2025, marking a new chapter for The Lights at Indio Golf Course, which has been a beloved destination since its opening in 1965. As the only night-lighted golf course in the Coachella Valley, The Lights allows golfers to enjoy the course well into the evening, creating a unique and memorable golfing experience under the stars.

A groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 8:30 a.m. at The Lights at Indio Golf Course, 83040 Ave 42, Indio. Community members, golf enthusiasts, and media are welcome to join us in celebrating this significant development.
