CATHEDRAL CITY — This year marks the Sixth Annual LGBT Days in Cathedral City. It is California’s first Pride of the year. They start Friday, March 27 and runs through Sunday, March 29 in Downtown Cathedral City.

LGBT Days will honor the LGBT community and celebrate the diversity of Cathedral City. The free weekend festival includes an opening night kickoff party, the Sixth Annual community LGBT Days bed race, live musical performances, outdoor dancing, food, beverages, and community booths.

Cathedral City LGBT Days celebrates the lives, history, and accomplishments of the LGBT community. Gathering under the worldwide theme “Exist. Persist. Resist.” the event highlights Cathedral City as a recipient of a perfect equality score by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

LGBT Days feature an Opening Night Block Party, a pool party, and the ever-popular bed race with Bella Da Ball as the emcee. This year will feature a parade of beds with prizes awarded to best decorated bed and more.

Schedule for Friday, March 27

  • 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Opening night block party in The Roost and AMP parking lot! DJs and live entertainment presented by The Roost Lounge and AMP Sports Lounge.
  • 8:00 p.m. – Divas on the Dancefloor with Anita Treadmill… Special Guest Hostess Ethylina Canne and an All-Star Cast at Trunks
  • 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Opening night entertainment at the Runway / CCBC Resort Meet and Greet Party

Schedule for Saturday, March 28

  • 10:00 – 3:00 p.m. LGBT Days Festival with live musical performances, outdoor dancing, food, beverages, and exhibitor marketplace at city hall.
  •  10:00 a.m. to Noon – 6th Annual LGBT Days Parade of Beds and Bed Race and exhibitor marketplace
  •  Noon – 3:00 p.m. – Festival entertainment, food, and beverages
  •  Noon – 4:00 p.m. Pool Party at CCBC Resort Hotel
  •  4:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Totally 80’s Happy Hour with DJ Robb at Trunks
  • 8:00 p.m. – Country Dance Night with DJ Stephen plus a Special Appearance by The LA Wranglers  at Trunks
  •  9:00 p.m. 4th Annual Fetish Ball at Barracks Bar
