Today is the climax of the 2022 election season. It is Election Day. You’ve heard from the candidates for the past year — or more. Now, it’s your turn. Make your voice heard: Vote.

As of Tuesday, Nov. 8, a total of 1,310,928 vote-by-mail ballots have been issued. and 292,535 have been returned. Do not let your voice be ignored.

In the months leading up to this day, candidates running for local boards of education, city councils, water districts, healthcare district, state Assembly, the U.S. House of Representatives and more have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to earn your vote. Today, the power is in your hands. Let them know what you think.

If you have not already mailed in your ballot and like the feel of casting your vote on Election Day, there are plenty of options.

According to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters, voting centers in the Coachella Valley are open through Election Day at the following places:
