The airport’s 11 air carriers provide non-stop flights to 26 cities in the United States and five cities in Canada.

PALM SPRINGS  – Palm Springs International Airport is on a growth streak with new non-stop flights to Austin, Texas, from Alaska Airlines. 

The new seasonal service to Austin will operate five days per week providing Coachella Valley residents with an easy way to get to the Live Music Capital just in time for the holidays/

Its new seasonal service to Austin will start on Nov. 19, 2021 and will operate five days per week until April 18, 2022. The flights will be operated on a 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft with 12 First Class seats, 12 Premium Class Seats, and 52 Coach seats. Flights from Austin to Palm Springs will depart at 9 a.m. arriving in Palm Springs at 10:35 a.m. and flights from Palm Springs to Austin will depart at 11:05 a.m. arriving in Austin at 4:10 p.m.

“Since March, our bookings for leisure travel have exceeded what they were before the pandemic. For many of our guests, there’s an increased confidence that comes after being vaccinated. They were cooped up for well over a year – now they’re ready to relax, enjoy and explore,” said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines. “With these new routes, we can whisk them away to destinations that have a warm sparkle in the wintertime.”

US non-stop cities include Atlanta, Austin, Bellingham, Boise, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Eugene, Everett, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Oakland, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Reno, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle. Canadian non-stop routes include Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. PSP is served by Air Canada, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, jetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country, United, and WestJet. Some airlines and routes operate only on a seasonal basis from PSP.
