24th Annual City of Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade is Back

PALM SPRINGS — After a hiatus due to COVID, one of Palm Springs’ beloved traditions is back, The 24th Annual City of Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 11.

For the 13th consecutive year, the Veterans Day National Committee of the Department of Veterans Affairs has designated the City of Palm Springs as a Regional Site for the observance of Veterans Day. Palm Springs is one of about 60 events nationwide to receive this important designation.

The Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Palm Canyon Drive at Ramon Road and heads north concluding at Alejo Road. This year’s theme is “Honoring All Who Served” in our Armed Forces. For the first time, the parade will be broadcast live on NBC Palm Springs. Immediately following the event, the Palm Springs High School Spirit of the Sands Band will perform a post-parade patriotic concert on the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Amado Road. The concert concludes with a fireworks finale.
