With its groundbreaking 1970s rock score, the show remains a cultural touchstone more than 50 years after its Broadway debut.
The original London production ran for over eight years. By the time it closed, after 3,358 performances, it had become the longest-running musical in West End history at that time
“Our performing arts students have been working tirelessly on this show,” said Dean of Social Sciences and Arts, Alejandro Jazan. “We are confident that the music, storyline and production will wow and entertain our audiences.”
