Porter Airlines Joins Palm Springs International Airport with New Nonstop Toronto Service

PALM SPRINGS — Porter Airlines is bringing its economy service to Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), launching nonstop flights from Toronto-Pearson International Airport (YYZ) this December.

“Adding Porter Airlines to our growing roster of carriers is a fantastic development for Palm Springs International Airport. This new service to Toronto not only enhances our international reach but also offers passengers a seamless travel option with Porter’s renowned onboard hospitality. Our partnership further elevates PSP as a premier travel hub, offering passengers convenient travel
options to anywhere in the world,” Harry Barrett, Jr., executive director, Palm Springs International Airport, said in a statement.

The seasonal winter service, starting Dec. 12, will offer three weekly flights. The route will be operated with the brand-new Embraer E195-E2. Its signature two-by-two configuration means there are no middle seats on any Porter flight. The 132-seat aircraft is also
equipped with fast and free WiFi for all passengers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Porter Airlines’ new nonstop seasonal service between Palm Springs and Toronto. This exciting new service from Porter not only strengthens the connection between our two vibrant regions but also provides an exceptional opportunity for travelers to experience the unique beauty, culture, and hospitality of Greater Palm Springs. We look forward to sharing our sunny skies and beautiful desert oasis with our friends from Toronto and beyond,” Scott White, President & CEO of Visit Greater Palm Springs, said in a statement.
