Lost & Found Portal Gives Guests Simple Way to Search for Lost Belongings
PALM SPRINGS —If you have ever lost anything at the airport, this is meant for you. Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) has partnered with Liff Happens, a leading provider of digital lost and found services, to launch a new online portal that allows travelers to view found items in real time and begin the process of getting them returned.
Accessible through flyPSP.com/lost, the new platform gives guests a simple, transparent way to search for lost belongings, submit a claim, and arrange return shipping without needing to return to the airport. The service is designed to improve the overall guest experience by making the lost and found process faster, more convenient, and easier to navigate.
Liff Happens is a proven platform used at major events and destinations nationwide, including Coachella, Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and EDC. PSP is the first airport to implement the platform, extending its success into the aviation environment.
“Every touchpoint matters when it comes to our guests’ experience, and this is a meaningful improvement,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., Executive Director of Aviation. “By partnering with Liff Happens, we’re reducing the stress and uncertainty that comes lost items while it making it easier for travelers to recover them.”
The platform catalogs found items with photos and key descriptive details, allowing travelers to browse listings and identify their belongings. Personal information is masked for security, while still providing enough detail for accurate identification. Once ownership is verified, guests can securely complete the claim process and have items shipped directly to their home or preferred address.
“We’re excited to partner with Palm Springs International Airport as our first airport client,” said Benji Friedl, Co-Founder of Liff Happens. “Airports present a unique opportunity to improve the lost and found experience at scale, and PSP is leading the way by putting convenience and guest experience first.”
Travelers who believe they’ve lost an item at PSP can access the new lost and found portal by visiting flyPSP.com/lost and navigating to the Lost & Found section. Items may take up to 48 hours to appear in the system, and guests are encouraged to check back or file a claim in the meantime.
