FIND Regional Food Bank Celebrates New Volunteer Service Center

INDIO – FIND Regional Food Bank is celebrating the completion of its new Volunteer Service Center, a welcoming space created for the volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and compassion to help fight hunger throughout the Coachella Valley and surrounding communities.

FIND Regional Food Bank has invited community partners, donors, elected officials, supporters, volunteers, and members of the media to join us on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 8:00 am at FIND Regional Food Bank’s Houston Building, located at 83-775 Citrus Avenue in Indio, for the official unveiling of the new Volunteer Service Center. Due to limited space, attendance is by invitation only.

This new center would not have been possible without the generosity and commitment of our donors, who believed in the vision of creating a dedicated space for FIND’s volunteers. Their investment is more than a gift to a building; it is an investment in the people who give their time to serve our community and help advance FIND’s mission. The celebration will recognize our donors and community supporters who helped bring this vision to life, as well as the volunteers who are at the heart of FIND’s work.

Guests will have an opportunity to see the new space, hear from FIND leadership and community supporters, and learn more about the important role volunteers play in helping provide nutritious food to children, families, seniors, and other neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

The grand opening takes place during Hunger Action a nationwide effort to raise awareness about food insecurity and encourage everyone to play their part in the fight against hunger.

Join us as we celebrate the people behind the mission and officially open the doors to a new space created especially for them with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
