Veterans University, Staple of Congressman Raul Ruiz’s Services to Veterans, Returns to Rancho Mirage

 

RANCHO MIRAGE — Registration is now open for this year’s Veterans University, and U.S. Rep. Raul Ruiz encourages you to reserve your spot today for this popular event,

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:30am to noon, Ruiz will host Veterans University in Rancho Mirage at 31001 Rattler Road. This event is designed to connect veterans and their families with the information and resources they’ve earned through their service.

Veterans University will feature presentations on accessing health care, navigating VA benefits, and understanding other available support services. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect directly with local agencies and organizations at our veteran’s resource expo.

Veterans University is an event covering a myriad of topics including: health care and disability benefits, exposure to burn pits, mental health, female veteran-specific topics, home ownership, senior-specific topics, and employment resources for veterans.

Presenters will provide a broad overview on each topic, followed by practical and detailed information on how to access the benefits described. Participants will also receive contact information they can utilize should they have difficulty accessing benefits on their own. There will also be a veterans’ resource expo with many local organizations and agencies that serve veterans.
