PALM SPRINGS — As the Shelter-in-Place order went into effect this morning, March 18, full-service restaurants in this community are closing their dining rooms. The order to stay home is due to safety concerns in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Many restaurants are offering new takeout and delivery options or expanding on what they already had. Others are using their resources to help people in need.

If you have no desire to venture out, or simply want that feeling of being waited on, there are a variety of ways to get hot, restaurant food delivered to you.

According to Nation’s Restaurant News, Chipotle Mexican Grill, which has seen digital sales soar through a partnership with DoorDash, has added Uber Eats as a new delivery partner — a move made as dine-in operations come to near halt in major cities and states across the U.S.

Consider these options to pamper yourself in these times of uncertainty.
