PALM SPRINGS —Ankur Gopal, CEO of Interapt, will present Retraining for Automation at the 14th annual Greater Palm Springs Economic Summit on Nov. 8, 2018.

Part of Gopal’s presentation will focus on the following:

  • How public/private partnerships can create an automation-resistant workforce
  • The realities of re-training mid-career adults: what does it cost and how long does it take?
  • Job prospects for re-trained workers

Gopal is a Technology Entrepreneur and the CEO of Interapt, an award winning innovation-as-a-service software company that serves the Fortune 1000. He is the recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2016. Ankur is a recognized speaker who has addressed audiences at leading international conferences including TEDx Palo Alto and Salesforce’s Dreamforce Conference. He created one of the first IT Apprenticeship programs that was registered by the United States Department of Labor. His work has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Politico, and the San Jose Mercury News and has appeared on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Gopal is an MBA graduate of the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
