Screwed by Several Decisions, Directions [Opinion]

Do they have them? Do they not? Donny says no. Kim says nothing. NBC News says they have 60-plus nuclear warheads plus thousands of conventional weapons. I think I believe NBC. Trump is going to have not only egg on his face but also I’m afraid bird feces galore. And when Kim shows his true colors, watch out! We’re screwed.

Anthony Kennedy retires and we have entered a truly scary period of time for our country. I think there is a lot we don’t know about the resignation — tired, blackmail about Kennedy’s son or maybe something else. Regardless, we are screwed. Women’s health, LGBT rights, redistributing and voter rights, and on and on. We need our senators to stand firm and to help the Republican women from Maine and Alaska to stand with us.

The president has taken his twitter rants out against the talk show hosts; Colbert, Fallon and the rest. Is it only 19 months since Obama left and all the class left with him. It truly is sad and depressing to see how quickly we have fallen.

I guess one good thing is LeBron James is coming to the Lakers. Seems weird to think that dribbling.a ball is worth $154 million for four years. Good for him, good for LA and good for Southern California’s economy. Not screwed.

Locally, U.S. News & World Report has named their top 1,000 high schools in the country and Cathedral City High School is on that list! Congrats to the students, the teachers and Principal Chavez. Great job to everyone.

Speaking of CCHS — the school’s choir just returned from Italy where they wowed everyone. People followed the kids all over Rome, Florence, Pisa and others. They had packed houses everywhere. They did our city proud. In a couple of weeks Cathedral City Television will air highlights of the trip. We have some amazing students.
