CATHEDRAL CITY — Ground will be broken Monday, May 13 at 12:30 p.m., paving the way for construction of the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house, a signature fundraising event for St. Jude.

The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude nationwide and has raised more than $420 million. In its 29th year, more than 500 homes have been built and all money raised through the program will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

All the action takes place at 30855 Avenida Los Nińos in Cathedral City. It is one of more than 40 Dream Home(R) giveaways across the nation.

Organized by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital(R), attendees will learn how they can reserve a ticket for a chance to win the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house and other prizes by reserving a $100 raffle ticket. Only a limited amount of tickets will be available, and all proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit St. Jude and its mission to treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

This year’s program is made possible by Gulf California Broadcasting – KESQ and KUNA, GHA Companies, The Warburton, and national sponsors Brizo, Shaw Floors, Trane and Bosch.

Earlier this year in the desert, the ninth annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament raised $2.2 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® this past weekend – Feb. 28 through March 3.

As the highest grossing golf tournament for St. Jude nationwide, this year’s event pushed the grand total raised to $12 million since its inception in 2011.

The 2020 Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held March 5-8, 2020. For more information, click here.
