Health Summit Sponsor SunLine Transit Agency Offers Free Rides to Attendees
Need a ride to the Healthy Desert Healthy You Summit on Sept. 10?
SunLine Transit Agency, which provides daily bus transportation across the Coachella Valley, has offered to help ensure valley residents can attend the summit at The Omni Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage.
Passengers who tell their bus driver they are going to or coming from the summit and show their registration as proof will ride for free. Proof of registration is provided to attendees who register online (please click the button below) and receive confirmation in email. The confirmation email includes the Healthy Desert Healthy You logo and a “You’re registered!” message, which riders must show SunLine drivers as a printout or as an image on their phones.
This free transportation opportunity applies to all local fixed routes: Routes 1WV, 1EV, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 14.

The Healthy Desert Healthy You Summit is a free, one-day event at The Omni Rancho Las Palmas, located at 41000 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. Presented by the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation with the support of generous sponsors, its panels and keynotes will spotlight four social determinants of health: improving healthcare access, behavioral/mental health, workforce development in healthcare, and housing.
