It’s Three Days of Culture, Cuisine, and Entertainment

Get ready for an incredible celebration! Our biggest-ever Taste of Jalisco Festival is coming to Downtown Cathedral City Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, 2025, and you won’t want to miss a moment.

We’re kicking things off with free admission for residents on Friday – just bring your Cathedral City ID or utility bill to the Solutions Desk, located next to the festival entrance. Plus, the first 250 residents each day can get free tickets to our amazing headline shows: the legendary Banda Maguey with Nacho Bustillos on Saturday and the thrilling Legends of Lucha Libre Live on Sunday!

We’re thrilled to introduce the Jalisco Culinary Experience this year, where Los Arcos restaurant owners will share their expertise in interactive cooking demonstrations. Learn the secrets behind authentic salsa (Friday), perfect guacamole (Saturday), and craft margaritas (Sunday). Space is limited to 50 participants per session, so come early!

The excitement begins Friday evening with our beautiful City Hall flag-raising ceremony, followed by non-stop entertainment across two stages. Dance to contemporary Latin hits at the Cathedral City Stage, including Outlaw Mariachi and a special Selena tribute show, while the Jalisco Stage comes alive with colorful folklórico performances.

This year’s festival is packed with new attractions:

  • Interactive cooking demonstrations with Los Arcos restaurant owners
  • Family-friendly petting zoo
  • Expanded carnival rides and games
  • Two stages of continuous entertainment
  • Spectacular folklórico performances
  • Mouth-watering authentic Mexican cuisine
  • Gold Medal Tequila Competition
  • Local artisan market

Join the fun starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Grab your early-bird tickets now for just $6.50 (regular admission $10 at door).

Let’s come together as a community to celebrate our vibrant sister city relationship with Jalisco, Mexico. It’s three days of culture, cuisine, and entertainment that you’ll only find here in Cathedral City!
