CATHEDRAL CITY — Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 14, for Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum recording artist Robin Thicke’s headline performance at the 12th Annual Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival. The concert takes place Saturday evening, November 21, 2026, at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.

A presale is underway now for those who signed up in advance. Registered subscribers can purchase beginning today at the best prices of the season, with an access link sent directly to their email. Free Tickets for Cathedral City Residents
Cathedral City residents will again be able to pick up complimentary tickets to Saturday’s Robin Thicke performance. Details on pick-up location, ticket quantity, dates, and requirements will be announced at a later date.

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Robin Thicke brings his chart-topping hits and soulful R&B sound to the Coachella Valley. Best known for his #1 hit “Blurred Lines” and other chart-toppers including “Lost Without U,” “Sex Therapy,” and “Magic,” Thicke has earned three #1 singles on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and four #1s on the Adult R&B chart.

The multi-platinum recording artist has written hits for Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, and Mary J. Blige, and has been recognized for his work on albums including Usher’s “Confessions” and Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter III.” Since 2019, Thicke has also appeared as a panelist on the reality competition series “The Masked Singer.”

12TH ANNUAL BALLOON FESTIVAL
The three-day festival runs Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, 2026, and is produced by SoundSkilz. Friday is free for all, with the festival opening at 5 p.m. Saturday is the ticketed program, headlined by Robin Thicke and closing with the Official Festival Balloon Glow and Festival Drone Light Show.

Morning balloon launches take place all three days, weather permitting, alongside tethered balloon rides, live entertainment, food trucks, a beer and wine garden, a kids’ zone, and family activities. The full weekend schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
