East Valley Republican Women Patriots Call for Full Transparency in Riverside County Election Review

Women's Group Seeks Transparency in Election Review

—Joy Miedecke

RIVERSIDE COUNTY —Joy Miedecke, President of East Valley Republican Women Patriots — the largest Republican women’s organization of its kind in the United States—issued the following statement regarding concerns surrounding the November 4, 2025, special election on Proposition 50.

“Serious concerns have been raised regarding the recent special election in Riverside County, including reported discrepancies between the number of ballots cast and the number counted,”” Miedecke, said in a prepared statement.

“While these reports are currently disputed, they are significant enough to warrant a full, transparent, and independent review.

This is not about reaching conclusions before the facts are known—it is about ensuring public confidence in our election system.

The voters of Riverside County deserve clarity and accountability. When questions of this magnitude arise, they must be addressed openly and without restriction.

We are encouraged that an investigation has been initiated. However, any effort to limit or halt that process risks undermining public trust at a time when transparency is more important than ever.

Transparency is not optional—it is essential.

This review should be the beginning of a broader and thorough examination of the 2025 special election. Wherever the facts lead, the public deserves to see them.”

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, whom the group has endorsed for governor, seized more than 650,000 votes from the state’s November elections this weekend.

He commenced an investigation into the state’s November 2025 special election on Proposition 50 after a third-party organization, the Riverside Election Integrity Team, claimed it found roughly 45,000 excess votes. California elections officials have dismissed the team’s findings, but Bianco says his office will conduct another count.
