Palm Springs Airport Holding Job Fair to Fill More than 80 Positions

PALM SPRINGS — Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is holding its first job fair to help tenants fill more than 80 open positions at the airport.

More than a dozen companies are looking to fill over 80 positions at Palm Springs International Airport. There are many full-time and part-time positions available from companies such as United Airlines, Hertz, Signature Flight Support, TSA, Atlantic Aviation, and more. Open positions include aircraft line maintenance, airline ramp agents, airline customer service agents, bartenders, taxi drivers, servers, cooks, passenger service supervisors, and rental car sales agents to name a few.

“Our tenants are looking to fill all types of jobs at the airport,” said Victoria Carpenter, Finance & Administration Manager at PSP. “We are organizing this job fair to ensure that the airport and our tenants are ready for the upcoming busy tourist season. With the increasing number of nonstop routes and airlines at PSP there are plenty of job opportunities available for those seeking employment.”

The airport requests that applicants bring plenty of resumes and a face covering with them for the interviews, which will be at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Tuesday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The airport’s 11 air carriers provide nonstop service to 33 airports in season, 28 in the United States and 5 in Canada. US nonstop airports include Atlanta, Austin, Bellingham, Boise, Boston, Chicago Midway, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Love, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Des Moines, Eugene, Everett, Fort Lauderdale, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City-JFK, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, Provo, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle. Canadian nonstop routes include Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.

PSP is served by Air Canada, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Flair, jetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country, United, and WestJet. Some airlines and routes operate on a seasonal basis at PSP.
