‘First Responders Days’ at Palm Springs Aerial Tramway with Complimentary Tram Admission

PALM SPRINGS — How can we ever really thanks first responders? For the entire month of August, all qualified first responders receive free admission to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway as part of “First Responders Days.” In addition, up to four of their guests receive 25% off their regular Tram fares.

“First responders are the cornerstone of every community,” according to Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols, “We greatly appreciate the dedication of all first responders and the work they put in every day to keep our communities safe. We hope a trip to the Tramway will provide a fun and enjoyable experience for first responders and their families to explore our beautiful mountain.”

First responders are those men and women running into a burning building while everyone else is trying to escape. They  are     the men and women who in January 2025, risked their lives as a series of devastating wildfires swept through Los Angeles, resulting in significant destruction, loss of life, and extensive evacuations.

First responders are those who helped rescue people during Tropical Storm Hilary using a front loader.

There are many more examples but you get the idea.
