McCallum  Theatre is back with Jay Leno, Barry Manilow, LeAnn Rimes and more

PALM DESERT — After an “intermission,” also known as the coronavirus pandemic that closed concerts, shows, sporting events and more, the McCallum Theatre is back.

It is back with some favorites and all-new show offerings for the 2021-2022 season. The lineup has something for everyone.

Back is the ever-popular “Jersey Boys.”

“Jersey Boys” is a behind-the-scenes Broadway musical about Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story — a story that has made them an international sensation all over again.

The show features the legendary Top 10 hits: “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and “December, 1963 (Oh What A Night.)”

The McCallum Theatre is back with LeAnn Rimes, David Foster, The Letterman, Patti Lupone, The Ten Tenors and more.

The McCallum Theatre is always rich with Broadway tours and this season is no different.

Audiences may also enjoy Broadway favorites such as “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Hairspray,” and “Beautiful, The Carole King Musical.”

Named for a pioneering desert family, the McCallum has gained acclaim as one of the country’s finest presenting theaters by audiences, entertainers and peers alike.  Ticket sales consistently place the McCallum in the top 50 theaters in the world.  Education programs have served more than 400,000 local schoolchildren, educators and community members, while top entertainers praise the venue and its audiences.
