Palm Springs Air Museum Presents Drive Through Santa’s Miracle on the Tarmac Dec. 18-23

PALM SPRINGS — The Palm Springs Air Museum has announced a new Holiday Event: Santa’s Miracle on the Tarmac. It’s Candy Cane Lane with Airplanes and Santa.

Air Museum Presents Miracle on the TarmacThis socially distanced drive-through experience features holiday sounds and lights, aircraft, and Santa Claus. You can enjoy this spectacle from the comfort of your own car for $20 per car.

Each car receives two McDonald’s coupons: one for a future free Breakfast Sandwich and one for a future free Big Mac. Limit is two coupons per car, and coupons can be redeemed at local McDonald’s restaurants only, plus one Goody Bag from Santa.

Journey past vintage aircraft and experience Santa’s Miracle on the Tarmac. Sponsors of this event are McDonald’s and the Shalhoub Family, The Chandi Group, and Palm Springs Disposal Services.  Santa’s Miracle on the Tarmac runs evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily starting Friday, Dec. 18th running through Wednesday, Dec. 23rd.

Advanced tickets only, as there is limited availability.  This is a drive-through event only, no walk-ups will be admitted. Please do not exit the vehicle at any time during the Miracle on the Tarmac experience. Masks are required for the driver and passengers for the safety of Air Museum ticketing and check-in staff.

The Palm Springs Air Museum contains more than 71 vintage airframes from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War contained in 86,000 square feet of open hangars and on the tarmac. Additional displays and memorabilia are located throughout the hangar facilities. Currently closed due to Covid19, retail Giftshop hours for special gifts is open from 10 am to 5 pm. Temperatures checked at the door, and masks required. Social distancing is in effect.
