PALM DESERT — Hope Lutheran Church is celebrating Christmas Eve with a series of four worship services and a Family Festival.
In addition to the servicess, the chuch, located at 45900 Portola Ave., will host the Family Festival from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Family Festival will feature hot chocolate, snowfall, Christmas songs, a petting zoon, Santa Claus, the Grinch, train rides, a sleigh and candlelight.
Worship services are scheduled at 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. Holy Communion will be distributed at the 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. services.

Desert Carolers
Also on Christmas Eve there will be caroling at The Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage, 68900 Frank Sinatra Drive, hosted by The Desert Carolers.
Carolers, clad in Authentic Dickens’-era costumes, will stroll the grounds and lobby areas. You may get a preview of their music by clicking here.
Hope Palm Springs will celebrate its first Christmas in Palm Springs with Christmas Eve services at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Isaiah, 332 W. Alejo Road. There will be carols, lessons and candlelight communion.
Hope Palm Springs is a mission start of the Pacifica Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It is a partner faith community to Hope Lutheran Church in Palm Desert. ELCA congregations are ministries that are open to all.
