“One of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory,” John McCain said. The Senator was the first Republican to weigh in on President Trump’s abysmal press conference with Vladimir Putin. He continued, “The damage inflicted by President Trump’s naivete, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake.”

Newt Gingrich said, “President Trump must clarify his statements in Helsinki on our intelligence system and Putin. It is the most serious mistake of his presidency and must be corrected —immediately.”

These were the Republicans. You can imagine the Democrats’ comments.

Former CIA Director John Brennan called Trump’s performance “nothing short of treasonous.”

What’s all the fuss? Our President standing next to the Russian dictator saying Russia is telling the truth about not meddling in our elections and our intelligence community is wrong. He also took the opportunity to whine about former President Obama as well as Hillary Clinton.

He called our allies in NATO and the European Union our “foe” and Russia our ally.

This man is either the stupidest person alive or truly is in the pocket of Putin. While he does do stupid things I don’t think he’s stupid. I believe he is a pawn of Russia, purposely destroying our country and its values and he IS guilty of treason.

Meanwhile his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, has his record being made public. We knew he was conservative but as his judicial record comes out, more and more we are seeing consistent rulings for business and against workers, for gun owners and against protecting our children and even worse, he totally believes in executive power and doesn’t believe a President can be indicted. What have we come to?

The elections in November are even more critical now. The Republicans in Congress and the Senate enabled this to happen. Those who have stood silent and those who have actually encouraged him and the destruction of our nation MUST be defeated. Trump must be stopped.

Disgraceful Performance President Trump [Opinion]

It is imperative we all stand up, fight back, take to the streets and RESIST.
