Meal Provides Students with Chance to Connect with Honored Veterans and Active Duty Service Members in Fellowship.
LA QUINTA — La Quinta High School’s highly acclaimed Culinary Arts Program welcomes active duty military members, veterans, and first responders for a specially prepared luncheon — the most popular of the year — the Feed the Heroes Luncheon.
Catered 100% by LQHS culinary students, the meal features all the fixings…turkey, stuffing, veggies, homemade bread, and pies, plus provides table service.
DATE: Today: Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026
TIME: 11:00 a.m. to p.m.
LOCATION: Culinary Arts Building
ADDRESS: La Quinta High School | 79225 Blackhawk Way, La Quinta, CA 92253
LQHS Public Service Academy and Air Force Jr. ROTC students support the event as greeters and a flag presentation. 50 choir singers will sing an amazing rendition of the National Anthem. Our students are eager to sit with the men and women in our community who have and continue to serve our country, share a meal, and hear about their time in service.
This annual event is always a great opportunity for young students to connect with our honored veterans and active duty service members in fellowship.
