Four Twenty Bank Dispensary & Lounge to Open in Downtown Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS — An iconic bank building left deteriorating for more than 23 years at the corner of South Palm Canyon Drive and Baristo Road has been transformed into a 38,000-square-foot cannabis dispensary, game rooms and live music venue. Twenty Bank Dispensary & Lounge has been submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest Dispensary & Lounge in the United States.
Partners Julie Montante and Nolan Moore have collaborated to bring their new concept to the heart of downtown Palm Springs.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Four Twenty Bank Dispensary & Lounge is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April,20, which is no coincidence. April 20 is commonly referred to as “Weed Day.”
Performing Artists will be Alf Alfa at 11 a.m.; Keisha D & Philly Joe, Derek Jordan Gregg, Johnny on the Spot, Mikole Karr and Eevan Tre’ at 7 p.m.
On New Year’s Day 2018, the nation’s most populous state became the eighth (along with Washington, D.C.) to have legalized recreational marijuana. Legal marijuana is projected to be a $7 billion industry for California.
