Galilee Center and Community Partners Bring Free Health Fair to Mecca

MECCA — Galilee Center, Desert Healthcare District & Foundation and Desert Recreation District are joining together to offer the Bridge to Health Fair on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mecca Sports Park, 61403 66th Ave., Mecca, by the Boys and Girls Club.

The fair will offer free medical care, vaccines, wellness resources, and support for mental well-being. All community members are welcome, with no eligibility requirements. The event will also feature a raffle with prizes and hot dogs while supplies last. Raffle participants must be present to win.

“We are excited to organize these community Health Fairs for the residents of Mecca and are grateful to the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation for making it possible to bring these important health services to our community,” said Claudia Castorena, founder of Galilee Center. “For neighbors without insurance or with difficulty accessing care, this health fair offers a welcoming place to receive services and find support and resources for their health and well-being.”
