Help Influence Future of Healthcare in Valley

New survey gives Coachella Valley residents an opportunity to influence the future of healthcare

PALM SPRINGS — Coachella Valley residents who attended the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation’s first community listening session on Wednesday, Feb. 4, were actively engaged in a discussion that will help influence the future of healthcare and affect the agency’s next strategic plan.

The District Board, staff and consultant Sowen scheduled seven listening sessions across the valley during February to give as many residents as possible an opportunity to participate in the planning process.

In addition, residents are invited to complete a short survey that helps identify community health and wellness priorities, which will be another important source when forming the strategic plan. When completed and adopted by the Board later this year, the new strategic plan will inform the District’s funding and programming decisions for the next five years and beyond.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey. You may complete it whether you are planning to attend a community listening session in person — and we hope you are — or if you’re unable to attend a session.
