COACHELLA — Kimberly Miranda has worked for the California State Legislature since 2017. As a Senior District Representative and Policy Advisor for Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia, she serves as the liaison between constituents and the member with the purpose of learning about the issues affecting the community, which may be resolved or bettered by the passing or amending of legislation; manages casework; and coordinates outreach efforts. Her policy areas of concentration include economic development, veteran affairs, sports and tourism, transportation, tribal governance, public safety, and youth engagement.

The deadline to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 election is October 21, 2024. If you miss the deadline, you can still register to vote until Election Day and follow the Same Day Voter Registration process, but you will not be registered as a confidential voter.
Starting October 7, 2024 the Registrar of Voters will begin mailing each registered voter a Vote-by-Mail ballot and election material. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the elections official within seven days after Election Day to
be counted.
