On Nov. 17, the long-awaited showpiece of the Palm Springs downtown revitalization project will officially open its doors.
The seven-story trendy, 153-room Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel at 100 W. Tahquitz Canyon Way will offer visitors a unique experience.
Guestrooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the views of the San Jacinto Mountains and desert.
The Rowan includes two restaurants, three bars, and more than 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
“We are so thrilled to have the Rowan join our Palm Springs community,” Mary Jo Ginther, director of the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, said in a prepared statement. “The Kimpton brand will attract leisure and group visitors to Palm Springs from across the globe, pairs perfectly with the vibe of our city, and anchors this new central downtown experience.”
The hotel features a rooftop pool, the only one of its kind in the Palm Springs area, is surrounded by daybeds with canopied misters, and cabanas, all boasting a 360 degree view of Palm Springs.
For those needing meeting space, the Sky Ballroom is located on the second floor, offers 2,300 square feet of contemporary space, and accommodates up to 200 people. The Jasper Boardroom seats up to 18 guests comfortably with a view to the Palm Springs Art Museum and includes a large 90-inch flat screen TV.
Guests can book now, according to the hotel’s website.
