February Center Stage Event series will feature a “Classic Hollywood” theme.

INDIO, Calif. (Feb. 4, 2022) – All the glitz and glam of Classic Hollywood is coming to life on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the City of Indio’s Outdoor Living Room at our first official 2nd Saturdays · Center Stage Event.

This FREE monthly concert and event series hosted by the City of Indio and presented by Take Five Entertainment, will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Smurr Street and Miles Avenue year-round.

In keeping with February’s Classic Hollywood theme, the event welcomes the vintage jazz pop group The Amanda Castro Band, vaudevillian Emcee Marquee. Grab some dinner from food trucks featuring Nick’s Pizza, Smokey Lips BBQ, Ruberry Salsa, desserts from the Desert Patisserie, and drinks via a mobile taproom from La Quinta Brewing Co. for those over 21.

February’s Center Stage event will also offer free activities for adults and children, such as corn hole from the Desert 4 Baggers, tailgate party games like giant Jenga and more! We’ll also debut new tables created just for the occasion by our own public works team and painted by local artists from downtown Indio’s CV Arts Center. Dress for the weather, wear proper shoes for the uneven grass surface, and bring extra blankets or lawn chairs to get comfortable.

More information and future lineups for our 2nd Saturdays · Center Stage events are available at www.indio.org/centerstage.  These events with rotating themes were created for the community as part of the city’s commitment to enliven the Coachella Valley’s original downtown.
