Community Meetings Announced for Upcoming Ramon Road Bridge Construction

PALM SPRINGS — Residents, business owners, and local commuters are welcome to attend two upcoming community meetings regarding the Ramon Road Bridge Project.

The City of Palm Springs, in partnership with the City of Cathedral City and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla
Indians are hosting the meeting.

With construction officially scheduled to begin this winter, these meetings will provide crucial information on what to expect during the highly anticipated two-year infrastructure project.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with the project team to receive the latest project updates, learn about construction phasing, sign up for alerts, and join the “Business is Open During Construction” program.

Two meetings have been scheduled to maximize community participation and accessibility:

Meeting 1 (In-Person & Online)

Complimentary food and free opportunity drawings along with ASL and Spanish interpretation will be provided at both meetings. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.

The Ramon Road Bridge Project will significantly improve traffic flow, increase public safety, and enhance connectivity along one of the Coachella Valley’s busiest transportation corridors. Serving more than 40,000 vehicles daily, the project will widen the existing bridge from four lanes to six, implement seismic
retrofitting and flood resilience measures, and add new sidewalks and protected bicycle lanes connecting to the CV Link pathway.
