Save the date: The Palm Desert State of the City is back for 2021
PALM DESERT — The Palm Desert State of the City Ceremony is back for 2021. The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce announced the in-person return of this annual ceremony.
The event will take place on Sept. 8th at the JW Marriott Palm Desert from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During this lunch event, guests can expect an info packed State of the City, a celebration filled Business Awards and a meet-and-greet with the new Board of Directors at the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce.
After an unprecedented year, Chamber leaders say they are excited to share all the things planned for 2021 with the City of Palm Desert community.
“We are so excited to be able to put this event on for the historic City of Palm Desert in 2021. Holding these important events is one of the ways the Chamber helps the local business community. We do this by putting businesses together. At the luncheon, they’ll hear more from those at the City about how we’ve done through the recovery and what plans the City has made to continue moving forward. Attendees will also be able to join the Chamber in recognizing our 2021 Business Awards winners and welcoming our incoming Board of Directors. This event is another of those opportunities we’ve all looked forward to in order to get back to normal” Randy Florence, CEO & President of the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce, said in a prepared statement.
