Wilson Meade has signed a deal that will bring a second Cart Mart location to the Coachella Valley. The 15,744-square-foot super store will open in La Quinta.

Listing agent, Heather Sharp, worked with Cart Mart to bring the deal to fruition in a 15,744 sq. ft. space next to LG’s Steakhouse that had been vacant for nine years.

“This is exciting not only for Cart Mart, but filling such a  high profile location that has been vacant for 9 years is huge is great for the City in general.” Sharp said in a news release.

The La Quinta location joins the company’s San Diego flagship location, as well as stores in Burbank, Orange County and Rancho Mirage.

“We opened our third location in Rancho Mirage in 2016, and we discovered we had a lot of clientele coming in from the east valley,”  Brian Rott, CEO of Cart Mart, said in the release. “The La Quinta store is really something we wanted to give back to the community. There will be two convenient locations now to serve the entire Coachella Valley.”

This is the third long-time vacant anchor space Sharp has leased in as many months, including the former Fresh N Easy in La Quinta and signing True Value  at 111 Town Center’s last available anchor space in Palm Desert.   Sharp introduced Cart Mart to their second Coachella Valley location – the anchor space at La Quinta Court, a centrally-located commercial hub with successful co-tenants including LG’s Prime Steakhouse, Fisherman’s Market & Grill, La Quinta Dental Group, Banner Mattress and Berkshire Hathaway.
