An Afternoon with Chad & Denise Bianco

PALM DESERT — A weaker man might have headed for the nearest dark corner to lick his wounds; hide from the glare of the klieg lights; and labor over what could have been. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is not that man.

After a bruising string of defeats, the sheriff will take center stage to address them all — and more.  He will be accompanied by his best friend, his wife Denise.  The two will appear at “An Afternoon with Chad & Denise Bianco,” Tuesday, November 17 at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage. The East Valley Republican Women Patriots have organized the event.

Issues that might come up are his failed bid to become the next governor of California, a defeat in the California Supreme Court when it ruled in September that he violated the state’s election law by ordering his deputies to seize more than 650,000 ballots tied to the Proposition 50 special election; and being stripped of his coroner duties.

“It’s after the election, so I’m sure it will be about that, however that comes out. There’s definitely not a shortage of topics,” Bianco said. “Apathetic voters are the real destruction of California. They allow 30 percent of the population to control the direction. People need to vote or nothing will ever get better.”

Now, he’s on a roll.

“Partisan politics are ruling the day. It’s no longer about what’s better for California or Riverside County,” he said. “My budget is also a huge issue that I will talk about. I’ll probably be there 8 hours!’

Just as one of his friend’s predicted after the defeats, “He’ll put his big boy pants on and be fine.”
