COACHELLA —  The Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians have named Brett Hunn as Assistant General Manager of Augustine Casino.

Casino Receives New Assistant General Manager

Brett Hunn

Hunn brings 14 years of gaming experience to the newly created leadership position. Since 2013, he has worked as the casino’s marketing director. Prior to joining Augustine, Hunn was director of marketing for MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Lake Tahoe. He began his gaming career at The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa and Casino, later leading the marketing efforts at Reno’s Boomtown Casino & Hotel.

The Northern California native brings his tireless energy and attention to detail to the senior leadership post where he will be second in command at the Tribe’s award-winning, locals-focused casino operation. “I’ve loved working for this incredibly forward thinking Tribe,” said Hunn. “My family and I truly love the quality of life we’ve experienced in the desert and we’re excited to begin this next chapter of our lives here. I couldn’t be more proud of the team I work alongside every day. I’m truly lucky to be part of the Augustine family.”

“Since 2013 Brett has built a very solid team of marketing and operations professionals, all of whom have contributed to our success,” said Jef Bauer, General Manager. “The results of their work under his leadership have been an integral part of our steady growth these past four years. Brett’s leadership and his contribution to our success has transcended his role in marketing to many other areas of the Augustine operation.”

For more than 16 years, Augustine Casino has been a locals’ favorite and is one of the largest employers in the East Coachella Valley. With nearly 400 team members, 25 percent of whom have worked at the company longer than 10 years, the casino features nearly 800 popular slot machines and the area’s only totally non-smoking table games. Its award-winning Café 54 offers a casual dining experience as well as daily buffets including its wildly popular “All You Can Enjoy” Lobster Buffet on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Augustine Casino is nestled in the shadows of the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, just three miles east of PGA West. 84-001 Avenue 54 in Coachella. For more information click here.
