Indio’s New Citizen Self-Service Portal Is Live
INDIO —This city has launched a new online “Citizen Self-Service Portal” to assist residents with the city services. Users can create an account and log in to access a variety of tasks as well as keep a record of information filed through the portal.
You can complete these tasks remotely with internet access and a device. If you need access to a device or the internet, you can visit Indio’s City Hall to use both at no cost. Physical paperwork is still accepted; you can stop by the counter to receive assistance from our friendly staff.
You can perform the following tasks on the online portal:
- Apply for a Permits, Plan, or License.
- Request Inspection.
- Pay invoices.
- Search online records for permits, plans, code cases, licenses.
- Report an issue.
- View Business license tax schedule.
- Visit an event calendar for holidays and public hearing.
“For over a year, staff from all City departments, with support from the City Council and City Manager Montgomery, have come together to create an online ‘one-stop shop’ for residents, business owners, property owners and developers,” said Community Development Director Kevin Snyder “We are excited to offer a new way of accessing City services that is convenient and efficient. Whether you are at home, at work or outside in the field, you can work with the city in way that best suits your needs. Of course, we are always here to help our residents and clients in person when they want or need to, but now they have more options at their fingertips to engage with us.”
If you need more information or want to access this portal, visit indio.org and click on the link at the top of the home page. We encourage the community to try Indio’s Citizen Self-Service Portal to avoid physical paperwork and long lines.
