There are 3,604 students from the Class of 2021 eligible for commencement ceremonies

PALM DESERT – Cal State San Bernardino will pay tribute to its Class of 2021 with virtual commencement ceremonies for students from its San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses in four virtual ceremonies on Saturday, May 22.

About 2,219 of the 3,604 eligible students have registered for the commencement ceremonies and will be recognized during the four ceremonies for each of the university’s academic colleges, which will be held virtually with a no-event site because of the COVID-19 pandemic. CSUSB will award nine doctoral degrees, 298 master’s degrees and 1,912 bachelor’s degrees.

Each ceremony will feature a commencement address by CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales, congratulatory remarks from Provost Shari McMahan, remarks from the college dean and the conferral of degrees. President Morales will deliver the closing remarks.

The commencements will be:

  • College of Social and Behavioral Sciences – 8 a.m., 833 students;
  • College of Natural Sciences – 10 a.m., 477 students;
  • College of Arts and Letters, 370 students / College of Education, 103 students – noon;
  • Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration – 2 p.m., 436 students.
