Inaugural Palm Springs Latin Gay Pride Fiesta: A Free Celebration of Diversity and Cultural Pride

PALM SPRINGS — Greater Palm Springs Pride announced Thursday that the inaugural Palm Springs Latin Gay Pride Fiesta ¡Orgullo! has been added to the slate of events for Pride Week in Palm Springs.

The Chichi Fuera will host the new celebration scheduled to kick off Pride Week in the Arenas District on Nov. 2 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“Palm Springs, renowned for its vibrant culture and inclusive atmosphere, recognizes the significance of hosting a Latin Gay Pride celebration. This event is a powerful testament to our city’s commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and embracing the rich tapestry of our community. By ty. By showcasing the intersection of Latinx and LGBTQ+ identities, we aim to foster greater understanding, unity, and acceptance among residents and visitors alike,” Ron deHarte, President and CEO of Greater Palm Springs Pride said in a statement. “Plus, there is no need to buy expensive tickets; our events are free for all to attend.”

Highlights of the Fiesta ¡Orgullo! include a lineup of talented artists performing and spinning a mix of Latin hits, from salsa and merengue to reggaeton and cumbia. The outdoor dance floor will come alive with the rhythms to make your heart race and your feet move.

Lineup: 

5 p.m. — DJ Ben: Resident DJ for the hottest Latin promoters in LA and San Diego.
6 p.m. —Mareeka’s Reventón Latino Drag Revue: MAREEKA hosts the hottest Latin Drag Revue with stunning performers Mayday, Violetta, and Athena Kills.
7 p.m. — Gisselle Woo & The Night Owls: A favorite from Coachella 2022. Chicano desert rock makes its way to the Arenas district.
8 p.m. — DJ Tatiana: Direct from her residency at the largest monthly women’s party in the USA, DJ Tatiana will keep the Fiesta ¡Orgullo! vibes going with moombahton, Latin, and top 40 remixes.
