The Free Summer Kids Movie Series happens each Thursday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.

CATHEDRAL CITY — When the temperature reaches blistering triple digits, what better place to stay cool than an air-conditioned movie theatre at the Free Summer Kids Movie Series?

The Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission, in partnership with the Mary Pickford Theatre, presents a “Free Summer Kids Movie Series” starting Thursday, June 16, 2022, thru Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022.

The film series offers free admission in order to see a different movie geared towards kids each Thursday morning at the Mary Pickford Theatre in Downtown Cathedral City.

The Series happens each Thursday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.  Doors open at 10:15 a.m.  One movie per week.  Adults must be accompanied by a child.

Limited seating.  Pick up your free Priority Line Pass one week in advance at the following Cathedral City locations:

  • City Hall of Cathedral City, Front Lobby (near reception window), 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero

You may still attempt to go to the film series without a Priority Line Pass, but you will be placed in a standby line.  Once the Priority Line Pass is empty, those waiting in the standby line will be admitted if seats are still available.

The June 16th movie will be “SCOOB!” featuring the voices of Will Forte, Mark Wahlberg, and Zac Efron.
